Camping lacona recensioni7/4/2023 ![]() The beach in Lacona is easy to get to by following a grit path in 10 minutes on foot. There is also a swimming pool for adults and another one for children, as well as a Jacuzzi, Mini Club, play park, five-a-side football/volleyball pitch inside the campsite. Guests can choose also from comfortable, fully furnished bungalows and flats. All are big enough both for large tents as well as campers and caravans and are connected to the mains. Our plots are in the shade of eucalyptus and pine trees, surrounded by Indian figs, mimosas with the typical Mediterranean bush all around. It is perfect for those who wish a relaxing holiday where they will feel completely at home. The campsite is in a quiet and peaceful area far from traffic, and is run by the owners themselves. There are two smaller, but equally fascinating, beaches inside the gulf - Laconella and Margidore: the former is sandy, and has unique inlets to be found nowhere else, the latter is a pebble beach that also has a tiny port for small boats. The sea is crystal clear, and is shallow till quite far out, so it is perfect for families with small children. The Camping Village Casa dei Prati is in a quiet and peaceful area, overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Lacona and its famous, sandy beach, without a doubt one of the longest on the Island of Elba.
